How to Make delicious Pizza without microwave oven !

Disclaimer : I am not a Chef, this may not be the standard way of making pizza. But I have wrote this blog for the bachelors out there, tired of eating food made by their cooks, restaurants and who likes to make easy dishes.

It is always better to learn cooking  things that you like to eat !!
you will never starve ha ha ha  :D :D

I am not a chef, but.. yes I can show you how can you make delicious Pizza without microwave oven !
It is really really easy.


Ingredients for 1 pizza  :

1 Pizza base
1 medium size tomato
1 small onion
1 green capsicum
4 Table spoon ghee
cheese cube
Tomato sauce - 1 table spoon
Garlic paste - 1/4 table spoon
chili sauce - 1/2 table spoon

Time duration : 15 minutes
Prerequisite : Love for Pizza :p

Ok, So process of making pizza includes 3 steps,

Step 1:

   

Cut the capsicum, onion and tomato in to small pieces.
Take a non stick pan, put half tea spoon of Ghee, capsicum and Onion into pan,
And Heat and stir for 2 minutes, don’t let the onion turn brown. After that add the tomato pieces into the mixture, make sure that all three vegetables are cooked well.
Put the mixture into the bowl.
 

Step 2 :



Now  take one bowl and add tomato sauce, garlic paste, chili sauce, and mix them well.
You can try variation here as per your test.
Step 3:

It's time to make pizza,
Turn on the stove on slow flame. Put the not stick pan on that, 2 Table spoon ghee, and put the pizza base on that to make one side crispy.



                       
Make sure you don’t burn it. Make it brown :)

Now turn of the stove, flip the pizza..
Spread the  mixture of sauce that we have prepared on the crispy side of pizza,
Then spread  cooked vegetables on that..



Turn on the stove on slow flame again, put 2 Table spoon ghee, now bake the pizza again till the second side become brown.


Cover your pizza with cheese (Yummmmyyy)

Your Pizza is ready !!!

First "Sankrat" away from Gujarat

કેરિયરની કેરી કંડારવા માટે  કેટ કેટલાય  Adjustment કર્યા...
લાઈફને સમૃદ્ધ કરવા કેરિયર બનાવો. અને એ કેરિયર બનવવા માટે જીવનના સહજ પ્રાપ્ય ખુશીઓના ભંડાર સમી ક્ષણોનું બલિદાન કરો.. !!!

જીવનની પહેલી સંક્રાત કે જે ઘરથી દૂર, ગુજરાતથી દૂર..
આજે નાનપણમાં લખેલા  નિબંધ યાદ આવે છે..   "મારો પ્રિય તહેવાર મકરસંક્રાતી".

લખવા માટે તો ખુબ લખી શકાય પણ,  આ તહેવાર સાથે સંકળાયેલી લાગણી ને અનુભવવા માટે અમુક શબ્દો પૂરતા છે...


પતંગ
, ચીલ , રોકેટ , ચાંદો , તિરંગો ,  સુરતી માંજો, ભગવાન દોરા, ખેંચનો, ઢીલનો , ગેંડા છાપ , ચીપટા, ગુંદર પટ્ટી, ઊંધિયું, જલેબી,  તલની લાડુડી, ચીક્કી, જીંજરા, બોર , 'બાયનોક્યુલર', ટુક્કલ, ખીચડો..
 

અગાસી ગમે તેટલી ઉંચી હોય.. ફરક ના પડે... પણ   પાડી પર ચડીએ  તો  પતંગ સારી ઉડે.. :)

સંક્રાંતની આગલી રાતે મોડે સુધી  "સદર બજાર"માં  પતંગ-દોરા ની shopping અને  "જોકર"ના ગાઠીયા..
 

I wish કે  ગુજરાતની બહાર.. આ મારી પહેલી અને છેલ્લી  સંક્રાંત હોય....
બાકી કાલે તો  "કાઈપો છે
...." કાનમાં ગુંજ્યા કરશે.O:-)

My Favorite - Banana curry (Kele ki sabji)

Oh Yes, I am an epicure !!  Though I am not a very good Cook , but I manage to prepare dishes I like.
Banana curry (kele ki sabji) is one of the dishes that I like. Fortunately It is very easy to prepare  :)
This is a delicious sweet and sour dish, and only takes few minutes to prepare. [Fast to cook , Good to Eat :p ]


To prepare this delicious dish you will need:

  • 3 ripe bananas peeled and sliced 1/2 inch thick.
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeere)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dhana jeera powder
  • Pinch of turmeric (haldi)
  • 1 teaspoon Suger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • Approx. 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro (hara dhania)
  • 1/2 Glass water

Easy steps to prepare this dish :
  1. Heat the oil in a sauce pan on medium high. Test the heat by adding one cumin seed to the oil; if seed cracks right away oil is ready.
  2. Add bananas , add water  now stir gently and cook only for a minute, don’t overcook otherwise banana will become mushy and watery.
    set Heat to low
  3. Quickly add Add pinch of turmeric, 1/2 t-spoon red chilly powder (actually this depends on test, I like a bit spicy dish),  1/4 teaspoon Dhana jeera powder,1 teaspoon sugar, salt (adjust to test).
  4. stir gently again, add chopped cilantro.


Done... !! you can searve this dish with Roti, paratha or Naan.
